Very delicious sushi restaurant. We got the tasting menu which was $32 per person with 3 dishes.Probably the best sushi I've had in Montreal. Super fresh and I love their combination of non traditional items that make up a roll. The Michael Jackson and Bob Marley roll were probably my favourite. The sushi Christmas tree was also a delight. The place is a bit small though but definitely really cozy with the decor.
Straight up low key and beyond hip for probably the strongest ROLL GAME in the city when it comes to sushi... here’s a heads up go in ask for the tasting menu @28$ (more than enuf) and get all the best of the best of they got to offer, in case you don’t like anything let me know and they will take cAre of it.. the people that work their are straight a cool squad SAINT SUSHI THE BEST SUSHI VIBE IN THE CITY PRICE TO UNIQUE TASTE VALUE perfection.
The sushi is great. Les Sapins de Noël, are a must have. The overall environment is relaxed, the music is good, the service is excellent. Nothing but good vibes from start to finish. It's a favorite stop whenever I'm in town.
Very nice staff and very original food!
The most delicious sushi I have ever had
My favorite sushi place in town. Always great energy with the staff and the sushi is top. Love the decor also.
This restaurant is not an ordinary sushi restaurant. They really stand out by creating their own flavour. It is more of a twist with burst of flavours. I highly recommend the chef’s menu :) Even though they raised the price (32$ before), it is still worth it for 38$ :) The fish is very fresh and savoury :D
I had heard great things about this place from people I know and reviews I’ve read online. Some people even claimed they were the best sushi in Montreal. My expectations were very high and I really wanted to love Saint Sushi but was left disappointed. They have no alcohol permit, a weird ambiance (granted it was a Tuesday night) and the service was very robotic (our waiter was nice, but so quiet we could barely hear what she was saying). We also wish they offered a dessert (not even matcha ice cream). The flavors were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The portions were okay and the rice on some of the rolls was very dry and hard which did not hold together. I’d say that price is a bit higher than average. Overall, for one of the “best sushi in Montreal”, we expected much better. There are better options out there! :(
Great little sushi place. Not a lot of choice but the things they make, they make well. Try the Christmas tree!
People should have more realistic expecations. I enjoyed my meal. You're not in japan experiencing an omakase experience.
Everything was excellent about our first visit. High quality fish and sushi. Staff and service were great. On top of that, they had a great playlist. Will definitely be back.
I cannot describe how amazing the food is. Ive had sushies from everywhere. Tri express. Jun I.. etc. But never have I finished a complete meal without even using a drop of soya sauce. The sushies were just fantastic. Myself and my lady had a fabulous time. Great ambiance, fantastic food and the owner is honestly an amazing humble man with true skills and passion. Try it and ul understand within the first bite. The price is honestly a steal for what your getting. Not expensive at all. Will be definitely back.
Amazing sushi, great atmosphere, came for Valentines Day and they don’t usually serve desserts but had a great one just for the day. Not too many tables so make sure to come during off hours or call to reserve
Worth a visit. The degustation platter was 40cad, can be filling for a person. But there is no volante. Staff were cool. This is a sushi fusion restaurant, not a pure sushi. Although meat tuna and salmon portions were very good. The presentation was nice.
Good sushi Friendly staff
We ordered the Clyde which was 2 sashimi, 2 Christmas trees, 4 nigiri, and 10 maki. It was our first time having a Christmas tree and it was quite good and meaty! The maki rolls were delicious also! Overall, a unique take on sushi, beautiful and tasty rolls. The service was also very quick and friendly! Only reason why it's 4 stars is because it was a little pricey and the sashimi slices were thin.
Great decor, atmosphere, and service. Non-traditional but higher quality sushi than most in Montreal.
So delicious! The man working the floor is super nice and friendly!Definitely coming back.
Friendly service, original variations. The tasting menu was a good way to experience various creations of theirs.
Tiny place ,make reservations, deeeelicious sushi .Can't leave without trying "Les sapins" you will not regret it !!!Fresh , beautiful and tasty + friendly staff .Can't beat that .Do it !
WOW! BEST Sushi in Montreal!!! Trust me - You MUST try it 😀 So happy to have found "SAINT sushi bar" on Duluth (One of the top-rated sushi restaurants in Montreal). The excellent sushi & makis are so delicious, creative, fresh and prepared with lots of love and have some really whimsical names like Michael Jackson, Beatles, Bob Marley, Madonna. The tasting menu is perfect for a group. The salmon Christmas trees are AMAZING! It’s really out of this world in both appearance, taste and great quality/price ratio. THANK YOU to all the chef’s & staff for being outstanding and super friendly. This place is a gem & unpretentious ❤️Wanna know why I believe Saint Sushi Bar is the best? They have their heart in the right place. They have a passion for food (make excellent sushi & maki’s) and have fun while working together ❤️
One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal! Great sushi a great price and the staff are my favorite of any place in Montreal! Highly recommend checking this place out if you like sushi !!
Food was fresh and the staff are really nice. However, the service was long and some plate are very small portion. On my menu I had seafood ceviche, Ma Vie Beef and for dessert the green tea cheesecake. It was delicious! The best green tea cheesecake I had, it was moist and very light. I also tasted the cod and scallop. The cod was perfect not overcooked and the fish was fresh. However, the scallop very very small portion but delicious. I went during the "Open table" event and I can't speak for the since I had a fixed menu for $41. Overall it's worth to try the restaurant.
I’ve tried lots of sushi places in Montreal & so far this one is the best. It’s head & shoulders above the rest. Try Michael Jackson maki, & Spain de Noel tartare. During weekends they get busy, it’s better to make a reservation.
Tasting menu was delicious as well as those christmas trees!
Got the tasting menu for 2 ppl. 32$ per person. Great atmosphere, so is the service! Everything that came on our plate was great! Nice sushi place if you are looking for some fancy sushi night
This place is always a nice go-to sushi spot. We walked in for two and got a spot right away, but soon after saw others walking in and having to wait a while before being seated because the place was packed. We got the Adam and added a couple of Sushi (salmon and tuna) and were pleasantly full. Service was great, as usual. Food took a bit long, but it was very reasonable given the circumstances. Would definitely go again!
The sushi here are just mind blowing! Definitely a must if you are around.
Absolutely delicious! Very generous. Only for those who can eat a lot of raw fish. Don't expect a lot of rice and a bit of fish. But the fish melts in your mouth! Very creative rolls. Reasonable prices if you take the tasting menu. You won't regret it.
I make sure to go here every time I'm in Montreal. Absolutely amazing tasting menu. Definitely make sure to make a reservation early - the location is pretty small and space is at a premium.
Ok so i really have to mention that I had an amazing service and Straight communication with the chefs while I was seated . Amazing personalization of my order .Everything was just perfect man ...Wow . These guys are pro’s .I’ve been in this industry long enough and trust me , I don’t give 5 stars for no one who doesn’t deserve them . Did I mention the food was amazing ¿?¿5 stars stunna .Well deserved 🍣
Some of the best sushi I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing and the charming staff added to the delightful dinner. Would definitely recommend the taster platter!
Love the saumon there! Super good!
Very cool place to eat. The owner is definitely passionate & you can taste it in his food. The atmosphere is nice & the place is small. I suggest making a reservation or you will be waiting. Notice these rolls aren't your typical sushi rolls. But they are creative & delicious!
One of the best Sushi spots in Montreal. Great quality, original and super tasty!
Loved this place! The sushi was fresh, delicious and also interesting. Nice atmosphere. I sat at the bar and the chefs were very friendly.
One of the best sushis in Montreal, and well priced too. They're located right on Duluth, one of our favorite streets in Montreal with all the amazing restaurants, and Saint Sushi really holds its own. All their rolls are delicious and not too heavy (not too much mayo and tempura like the other places) with an abundance of fish. The staffs are super friendly and they even offered us a few free pieces !
Amazing place. Very small but great.
Best all around sushi in Montreal. Amazing vibe and creative delicious dishes. Make it simple for yourself and get a tasting plate and have everything!
their chopsticks are too heavy and thick for Asians hands, the appetizer was good, their famous christmas trees were good too, but the nigiri sushi has wayyyyyy too much rice, and its just plain white rice, not the sushi rice(lightly mixed with vinegar and sugar), so when I put it in my mouth, lots of rice still remain after the first swallow. The staffs are friendly and the price is pretty good too.
A lovely place if u are looking a nice sushi. Was so tasty we ordered some saucerfuls I liked the tiny mushrooms on. Decoration is brownie yellow with nice painting on the walls. I still remember a torero potrait over my head. The waiter was so nice always. Excellent food. Super recomended.
I ordered the tasting menu because I did not know where to start. I am glad I did. I got to sample most items on the menu and with the exception of the Michael Jackson roll, they were all delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would happily return.Customers should keep in mind that this restaurant is not a typical sushi bar. They specialize in funky, strange rolls, sashimi, etc. They combine flavors, textures, and ingredients in new and interesting ways. They do not go overboard with the sauces, either.
It was good, but nothing special. Sushi momo is still the best sushi place in montreal!
My favourite go to sushi spot when I go to Montreal. The food is delicious and the staff is always so friendly! Both Boonie and Clyde Menus are fantastic
Nothing to say other than this place constantly exceeds our expectations; as if it just gets better and better every time we go there. Hands down, best sushi I have ever had; fresh, tasty, flavours well-paired, creative and beautiful! But what really completes the Saint Sushi experience is the amazing staff, fun, down to earth, polite, and are a delight overall.
Not much to say: it's awesome.Great atmosphere and ambiance packed into a cozy little space. We sat at the sushi bar and had a great time talking with the chefs. I highly recommend the tasting menu for two or one. Was plenty of food and a nice variety. Will go back, do recommend.
Lively atmosphere, great selection of dishes, well worth the trip.
Excellent food, friendly staff, cozy ambiance. I suggest ordering the set menu.. it has the following sushi: Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Madonna, and The Beatles. Fun ways to name the different sushi. Will definitely be back!
Excellent sushi with prompt good service. Small quaint place just as i like it. The price works too. All good.
Been around for a minute, but don't let that fool you. Saint Sushi has perfected what they do. Delicious, fresh sushi creations, friendly, warm, service. An unpretentious way to get some really sushi at very affordable prices. My only suggestion is to get a partial liquor license and serve beer and wine.
